"Last summer we went to an island, climbed to the highest point of the whole island, stood on a lighthouse on the cliff, and watched the night gradually fall. The people below us were slowly shrouded by the shadow of this cliff that we were on, and for them, the sun was no longer visible, and the night had come."
"We stood at the highest place without any shadows covering us, and the sun was still shining on the edge of the sea until finally, the shadow of the earth itself enveloped us. Standing on the cliff, we suddenly realized that the night is relative, you only see the night’s shadow of wherever you are in the world. We remembered the days when we were stuck at home earlier this year, so we wrote this song. Whether it is the shadow of the world, the shadow of a tree, the shadow of a mountain, it is brought by light and will be taken away by light. Us in the shadow can only wait for the light as we warm each other. The lonely and distant people greet each other in the shadow, 'Wave your hand at me and wait for me.' The 'shadow of the world' will always go away, and we will see the light again."
